Alternative therapies for depression.

Anti depressants may help us in controlling the depression to some extent but they carry a lot of side effects along with them. Hence most of the people search for alternative therapies which can help them in healing their depression in the most natural way.

Some of the alternative therapies can be used for healing depression:

Acupressure:

Acupressure is an ancient form of therapy from china. In this therapy the patient is inserted with needles in certain points all over the body. These needles are place for certain time and then removed. It is said that by inserting these needles in certain pressure points helps in the flow of chi or energy releasing any blocks held anywhere.

Hypno therapy:

Most of the attitudes that cause the depression can be altered using hypno therapy.in hypno therapy the patient is made to go into a deep sleep or a trance like state and is given positive suggestions about everything related to him like work , relations and life. By doing so gradually the patient develops a positive attitude which can help him overcome the depression.

Music therapy:

Music therapy can be a great form of therapy in elevating the mood levels of a person. It helps a person in relaxing himself away from all his worries and fears in a world of serenity and fortitude.
Listening to soft and serene music can relax the nerves and generate positive feelings within us.
