With the kind of mentality people are living their life’s it is quite possible for them to get a though once in a while which tells about ending life. This kind of thoughts are not very dangerous provided they are under control. In case of depressed people, the very moment they get these kind of suicidal thoughts they should go for professional help. Suicidal thoughts are something which come as the last resort to the mind. When the body cannot cope up with the pain it is going through, it decides to end its life. This is a very negative approach to the problem. Always remember that for a temporary problem we are developing a permanent solution.

For instance if a depressed person is looking at fire then he will feel excited about getting burned or when he has a knife in his hand then he finds pleasure in cutting himself. These kind of thoughts are known as suicidal thoughts.

  • When you are depressed or having such thoughts try talking to someone close to you. This will help you in relieving the stress. Most preferable talk to the person face to face.
  • Spend most of your time with people who are not depressed. Spend a lot of time with happy people and try to be one of them.
  • Avoid any kind of substance abuse. Especially alcohol can cause a lot of problem when you are suffering such thoughts.
  • Make one of your family members to take the responsibility of your medicine dosage. When you have a tendency of getting suicidal thoughts you are prone to have an overdose of your normal medicines.
  • Be close to the nature. Try to spend time in the sun or have a nice walk in the park for at least 30 mins a day.
  • Have a healthy diet. Diet plays an important role in your mental health. So don’t skip meals or eat unhealthy food.
