The symptoms of depression include fatigue, food disorder, sleep disorder or Insomnia, stress, lack of concentration and irritation. All these symptoms in their mild to moderate forms can be taken care by the age old practice of Yoga. It is a relaxation exercise with different poses or postures. It originated in India 10,000 years ago. This article tries to understand how Yoga can be an alternative treatment therapy for depression.

Benefits of Yoga are that it tones the nervous system, improves concentration, activates the blood circulation and energizes our mind and body.   2. it is easy to learn Yoga although it seems difficult at first try. I practice Yoga mainly for relaxation and for improving my blood circulation.
